Everything we wanted was very well catered for. Villa owner was on site and was full of useful information for activities and restaurants. Even organized a cleaner daily 😊
Impressed with: Clean, friendly and value for money.
Not impressed with: They do like to charge for everything!
Recommend: Boat hire from Split – Bit expensive as there was a lot of us but worth it for the day. All the local restaurants were very nice and friendly.
Favourite villa moment: Watching the sun set every evening with large G and T’s!Stayed July 2017
Fantastic position with great views from the balcony and easy access to the sea from garden. Nice location with good access to Trogir, Split and surrounding area. Water taxi nearby which takes you into Trogir. House is split into two apartments which can be rented separately or together. Recommend taking the whole house as middle/upper floors are the best.
Owner very helpful and on hand to deal with any queries. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Good website, comprehensive information on villas and general ease of use.
Impressed with: Some interesting places to visit and fantastic sights around the coast & islands.
Not impressed with: People can be sometimes a little abrupt.
Recommend: Water taxi into Trogir from nearby campsite (10min walk). Kn 50 return fare. Krkla National Park (about 1 hour away). Primosten very picturesque and worth visit/lunch
Favourite villa moment: Early morning swim plus breakfast on the balcony. Sea is tranquil and crystal clear first thing.
Stayed July/August 2017
Read more reviewsJust wanted to thank you for a fabulous holiday in TG001 villa near Trogir
The villa was clean and modern with spectacular views of the sea from both balconies.
The sea is so clear there and we could reach it in minutes via the garden.
The area is quiet not overrun with tourists but an easy walk to the village and the boat taxi to Trogir
We hired a little boat from the village rental place and went exploring anchoring in a deserted bay for snorkelling
The caretakers were delightful. We had a problem with the fridge, drains in bathroom and Satellite tv and struggled to reach her by phone but once you got hold of her they came straight away to fix it.
Theres a new Studenac supermarket opening this weekend up the road behind the villa so that will be handy for your future guests
Also Baldo from the taxi firm Ivan Golez speaks great English and was really helpful he took us to Krka and waited all day to take us home bless him.
We did find he was not there to meet us from the plane but I rang Davorka and she sent him to get us- apparently he had arrived to get us at 11.30 in the morning instead of evening.
Also thankyou for the breakfast welcome pack and letting us stay till 7pm on Saturday which made our late flights much less stressful.
I would definitely travel with you again and recommend Croatian Villas to friends.
Croatian Villas comments Understand the shelves broke in the fridge and there was a plumbing issue in one of the showers, both of which were fixed once the caretakers were advised of the situation. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
Stayed June 2017
Impressed with: Overall helpful and kind people.
Favourite villa moment: Eating at the balcony with spectacular view and sunset.Stayed June 2017
Beautiful location, great spacious house, fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you very much.
Impressed with: Surprisingly good infrastructure, very friendly people. Good value for money.
Favourite villa moment: Waking up in the morning and looking out at the water and sipping coffee. It's so beautiful.
Stayed: July/August 2016I liked the villa and location of the villa that I rented. Everything was fine. The caretakers were great and we also met the owner.
Impressed with: Croatia is a wonderful country. It's beautiful, the people are friendly and helpful, and most everyone spoke English (good for us because we don't speak Croatian!). It has natural beauty, Greek and Roman ruins, old towns from the Middle Ages, great museums (in Zagreb especially) and the food was fabulous.Recommend: Trogir old town is an absolute gem and a few minutes away. Advise visitors to Trogir old town to park in the large lot on the right near the wooden bridge which goes to old town (the lot is just before the market). Going a bit further is always jammed with traffic, at least in the summer. The market is open in the summer well into night and has great vegetables, cured meats, trinkets, food stalls, etc. Across the street is a fabulous fish market and a conventional supermarket. The fish market seems to sell out by noon or so, so go early. Seget has several good restaurants in the harbor area, a short walk from the house. We loved Samac and Mediterano. In Trogir, Mirkul was great. Seafood is the way to go in every case. The harbor area of Trogir is a good place to have a few drinks and watch people. Split is good for a visit, although parking is a challenge. Krka Park is about a hour away and is worth a visit although it's jammed with people in the summer. There's a second park that's part of Krka that we drove to that was much less crowded. The falls there weren't as spectacular, but it was still quite beautiful.
Favourite villa moment: Snorkeling. The water below the house is crystal clear and has literally hundreds of sea urchins clinging to the rocks and many small fish.
Stayed July 2016Everything was very professional
Impressed with: Sea and mountain. Friendliness of people
Not impressed with: Country needs to manage the infrastrcuture to cope with the tourist. Main example is waste management as some place can get quite dirty.
Recommend: RIBAR restaurant in Seget. Very good food even if the service is slow (like in other Croatian place) so it is OK. Krka national parc / Plitvice national parc / Trogir / Dubrovnic / Sibenic To rent a boat to see the islands
Favourite villa moment: This one
Stayed July/August 2015Impressed with: I love Croatia- I have been there many, many times- seen the whole coastline. Don't know what impresses me the most
Recommend: Restaurant Alka in Trogir
Favourite villa moment: Location
Stayed July 2014The pictures and video on your website of the property was exactly right. Maybe the first floor was a bit modest compared with the second and third floor. We thought that the first floor could have a bit more sea view from outside and the outside furniture should be updated.
The owner was very helpful and we enjoyed her help.
Impressed with: Nice people, a lot to see, reasonable price level, at least outside the high season, weather
Not impressed with: Too much garbage on pavements, down hills etc. Even in the water (harbour) garbage.
Recommend: The tourist season had not started yet, so there were not very many activities during the period. The Mediterranean restaurant was very nice with very good food.
Favourite villa moment: Many good moments, but the first impression of the villa with the sight ower the bay was astonishing. Also dinners outside with the sea view were great.
Stayed May 2014Thank you for offering such a lovely property. Communication prior to our arrival was clear and prompt. Caretaker was extremely helpful and went to great lengths to make sure we were comfortable.
Impressed with: Beauty, cleanliness, friendliness of the people we encountered.
Not impressed with: Drivers tend to be a little pushy - this can be intimidating when driving on winding mountain roads that are unfamiliar - but we did ok.
Recommend: Very much enjoyed Trogir with its farmers' market, shops and restaurants. The villa is within easy walking distance of a couple of restaurants - we tried the one called "Rebar" (I believe that's the name) and it was quite good and reasonable. Split is about a 40 minute drive, enjoyed that very much as well.
Favourite villa moment: We all enjoyed spending some days sunning and swimming; we barbecued one day; made a pasta dinner another and dined on the veranda. So relaxing and such a beautiful setting!Stayed September 2013
Lovely property with excellent location. Very helpful owner on site.
A point to note - the end of our holiday was spoiled by the corrupt police. We were threatened with a 1000 kunar fine because we turned at the "wrong" slip road into the airport. in the end we paid 300. We were not issued with a ticket. The Croatian guy in front of us paid nothing. A total scam to get the tourists to pay up their last kunar before flying home.Impressed with: Friendly people
Not impressed with: Corrupt police - please see previous comment.
Recommend: Ribar restaurant and Hotel Mediterana restaurant in Seget Vranjica. Resaurant Eva in Trogir
Favourite villa moment: The ViewStayed May 2013
Instructions for the washing machine and dishwasher. Welcome book with information from how to buy food and where, opening hours different restaurants for different purpose, trips and things to see, how to call if you have a problem. The Madame was super nice and most helpful during our stay even though she did not understand English, but we could always speak via her daughter. She made the best cake ever!!!
Impressed with: Friendly people Clean Value for money Good food Water!!!!
Not impressed with: The airport!!! Too small for all those guest, poor quality and I hope for the region that they will soon do something about this as most of the guest are flying in and out on Saturdays The car rental - if you have reserved a care in advance and paid with credit card it should not take 30 minutes to get it!!!
Recommend: The Krka was a very big surprise. But it would have been nice to have received some information prior to going there. For ex that you should take swimming suites with you, and that there was restaurants in the area, the length in time it took to go there Trogir - super nice area and town
Favourite villa moment: Close to the water!!! the incredible nice crystal clear water. We would like to reserve the same 2 weeks for next summer - 2013. Please send some information about what the rental cost will be and a preliminary reservation for these dates. Many thanks for a super nice vacation!!!Stayed June/July 2012
I was concerned about how far we would need to walk to shops and restaurants more information about this would be useful as it wasn't a problem at all. Impressed with: The scenery the architecture and the excellent service in bars and restaurants.
Stayed September 2011
We met the owner who was so helpful and very welcoming. She popped in a few times to check all was well and we felt most welcome. We hope to be back for a third year in 2012. The area we were was just beautiful, stunning. The local people, i.e. shop, restaurant were very nice, in fact the waiter in the restaurant remembered us from last year! Have recommended you to a few friends who want to visit
Stayed September 2011
Excellent, we loved it. (Was impressed with) The scenery, architecture and people.
Stayed April 2011

Stayed September 2010
It was just as the pictures, sometimes places have been photographed to look better than they are, but this was just fab, the pics didn't do the views justice as they were stunning. 10 out of 10. Friendly helpful people, Beautiful places to see Value for money. Fab place we as a group will be back next year for sure, may even squeeze a few days in September with my husband and friends
Stayed June 2010
