Mallorca – Car Hire Terms and Conditions
- Minimum stay of 7 nights applies to qualify for FREE car hire.
- Collection/drop off at the airport: 4th floor of the multi-storey car park which is opposite the terminal building. This will incur a car parking fee (approximately €9.5 depending on the length of time the car is in the car park and is the responsibility of the customer – payable locally). Cars must be returned to the airport collection point within 2 hours of your collection time, otherwise, a further day will be charged locally.
- Flights arriving between 23:00 – 06:00 and also delayed flights arriving between these times incur a night handling fee of €50 (payable locally).
- Insurance – includes unlimited mileage. When at the car hire company please ensure you read the terms and conditions. You will be required to sign a hire agreement and will need a credit card. The agreement is between yourself and the car hire company. With your insurance, you are responsible for failures and damages to the vehicle including tyres, wheels, sump, clutch and the underside of the car, as this is not covered by your CDW comprehensive insurance. If you wish to take out fully comprehensive car insurance (SCDW) so your excess is fully covered, you can do this on-site and pay for it locally at the car hire company otherwise any damage made will be taken out of the deposit held on your credit card.
- The car is provided with a full tank of petrol and a full tank of petrol is required upon its return. If this is not done you will be charged for the petrol that has been used.
- Car delivery to resort office or villa can be requested at an additional charge – please enquire at time of booking. If requested, cars must be returned to the resort office no later than 10:30 am, otherwise, there will be an additional charge for a further day.
- Up to 4 additional drivers are complimentary.
- There is a minimum driver age of 21 years old with a 1-year driving licence and 25 years old for car groups D, E, F, G. There is no maximum drivers age.
- Broken or lost keys to be paid for locally and customers will be charged for using the wrong fuel.
