We certainly enjoyed our early Christmas gift courtesy of Ultima Courchevel Belvedere. From the moment we were chauffeured away from Geneva airport for the 2 ½ hour transfer, we knew we could relax knowing the next few days we would be more than looked after. 

After a warm welcome on arrival, we were shown to our residence…..

…where we greeted with a delicious welcome 

The resort is made up of 13 residences set in 2 buildings, the great thing about this set up is that you can have access to hotel services with private residence style accommodation.

All the residences are accessed from within a building so once you enter the lobby you can walk to your residence along a beautifully decorated warm corridor.

Entry to a residence (either 4 or 5 bedrooms) opens into the ground floor which features a utility room, if it is a 5 bedroom residence, a bedroom is located on this level, then there is the elevator taking you to the 1^st and 2^nd floor where the remaining bedrooms are located. 

The top (3^rd floor) also with elevator service contains the open plan lounge with mountain view balcony, kitchen with bar and dining room. All bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms and walk in wardrobes. The resort displays a number of designer touches such as LV monogrammed artwork and Ultima toiletries.

Luxury Courchevel Ski Group Bookings – For larger groups guests can take 2 or 3 residences together. For groups of 10 or more, catering can be organised at a separate on-site dining room.

Back to the in residence private chef service from a choice of 5 menu options. Gathering with family and friends, you can be assured of deliciously tasty traditional alpine cuisine….

…as well as gourmet dishes prepared and served by the resident culinary team.

With a rather comfortable bar on site, why not head for a pre-dinner aperitif or after dinner cocktail served by your personal master mixologist. 

What about the skiing?

Ah yes, the skiing. The resort offers ski in/ski out , step out from the boot room onto the piste.

After a ski tour around the resort our group settled for a late lunch and coffee at the lovely Bistro Manali 

Back at the residence and a little relax it was time to get ready for even more relaxation with a visit to the in-house spa for a massage and Swiss perfection skin treatments followed by a sauna and divine dip in the outdoor pool.

Even though I was naturally exhausted from all this activity, I somehow managed to ready myself for a glass of champagne followed by a gourmet meal expertly prepared and served by the super friendly staff. It certainly It certainly was a lovely end to a perfect day. 

Our trip was nearly over and after our freshly prepared breakfast we headed back to Geneva airport, thoroughly delighted with our early Christmas gift.
