NIZWA & JEBEL SHAMS TOUR

JEBEL AKHDAR 4WD TOUR

Jebel Akhdar or “The Green Mountain” takes its name from the evergreen cultivated terraces that sit on its slopes. Make your way to this mounatin Oasis by way of the Sumail Gap, Izki and the Saiq Plateau or “the roof of Oman” which for hundreds of years was accessible only by donkey. Walking is particularly pleasant in the area due to the cool, dry weather and there are lots of potential destinations to explore.

Explore the beauty of the magnificent Wadi Shab. WADI AYADH & WEKAN VILLAGE

Get the day off to a flying start by visiting the Camel Breeding Farm at Barka, home to hundreds of Oman’s finest thoroughbreds. Take a more modern form of transport by hopping into a 4×4 before heading to Wadi Abyadh to enjoy the rock pools and to partake in some “Wadi Bashing”. From here head up to the mountain village of Wekan to enjoy the spectacular views and marvel at the range of produce that thrives in the cool mountain climate.

DOLPHIN WATCHING

Depart directly from the Jebel Sifah Marina and explore the shores of Oman in search of Dolphins. DAY OUT ON THE BEACH

Jump aboard the speedboat in the morning and set off in pursuit of dolphins whilst cruising the ocean on your way to a private beach. Once you arrive there’s the option to partake in a variety of beach activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, banana boating, jet skiing and doughnout rides. Recharge your batteries with a delicious Omani BBQ lunch before spending the afternoon lazing on the sands or playing beach games.
